1 Year later today!

Life takes you for a crazy ride right! I've been plugging along mostly posting here or there on Instagram and my Facebook page.

We had an awesome time in Cali for the warrior dash in April.
Or family finished out the school year and made a big move back to Colorado. And today on my 35th birthday I will measure and weigh in, reflect on this last year and report where I am at with my personal number goals and my pebble moments list.

I am super excited to see how far I have come this last year and where I will go from here!

SOCAL Warrior Dash 2013

Las Vegas Warrior Dash in October has been cancelled. Total bummer! My Vegas Bestie and The Hubs both signed up to go.

This would have been Las Vegas's second year warrior dash (glad I braved the first one and did not miss out), but according to the email, "multiple factors with the vendor..." they cancelled. hopefully it will get all worked out and they will come back for 2014.

So instead the bestie "bobbie" and I are making it a girls weekend and travelling to SOCAL Lake Elsinore,CA  for their warrior dash and will be seeing my Cali bestie "Melissa" and her family.

Here is the countdown, I have some weight loss and fitness goals I want to hit before the race. Sorry I have not updated on my blog in awhile. I really do miss it. I have been spending a lot of time on my facebook page, instagram and MFP (my fitness pal) tracking my journey (come find me over there!). I do however, have a lot to update on my blog and some comparison pictures to update and Pebble Moments!

For now here is my countdown clock to SOCAL!

You deleted What!?!?

My sweet sweet boys of the house. They are always doing "projects". Anyone with boys probably knows what I talking about.

Building, tinkering etc. throw in our time of technology in the mix and well, what happened..happened.

There is a nifty app for iPhones and iPads so if it is lost or stolen you can log in an locate it. It also gives you a security feature and my 11 year old son being curious as he is pushed the little button and that was the end of ALL my data on my iPad!! :( sigh...

I have been storing all my data since August first in it and not once backed it up. First thing I learned when computers debut with those cool apples... Save save save.

Sooo I'm working on gathering data and info and trying to recover some info I may have loaded to facebook, twitter etc I was going to post about in my end of year posting.

Wednesday Weigh In 12-26-2012

First time I've been through a holiday and lost weight. I have been trying not to over think my food and use common sense. Like 2 cookies vs the whole tray type thing. I also did not have any goodies available that are triggers and the goodies I did enjoy I made them at home so I could choose the ingredients in them.

In August I set a mini goal number wise for 210 lbs or less by the new year. Not sure as I have 4 days before I weigh in with a little over 2 lbs to go. I then have an official monthly measure/weigh in the next day. I'm going to keep the course and I am happy with where I am regardless of the number I see next week because I know the weight I arrive at at the end of the year is one I got to in a healthy way.

Wednesday Weigh In 12/19/12

I was really expecting a gain in the number department as I usually do on a monthly basis. I have to say that this is the first month I have noticed a lessen in pms symptoms. The cravings and fatigue where much more manageable then they have been in a long time.

I just tried to stay focused on the facts of the situation and tried not to give into what my body or emotions wanted. I looked up alternate foods to my cravings and for the most part they worked. Making sure I stayed hydrated worked as well. I made from scratch dark chocolate chip cookies (dairy free) and they where good and hit the spot. I did not find perfection in this week, I found balance and that is a huge victory for me and my old way of thinking being evicted from my life.

Still working and progressing through my December challenges and goals. Can not believe December is almost over. Time really does fly when your having fun and I have been doing just that with this process this month. I had a short term goal to reach 210 by the end of the year. I just may hit that goal yet :)

Health is starting to spread in the house, kids are wanting to work out with me more and more and the Hubby, bless his heart stepped onto the path with us officially last week :) It really does change the dynamic in the house when both parents share a common goal that is good for all in the family.

He is participating in a 10 week biggest loser contest at work and the highest percentage wins the pot. He is doing great making small changes and taking baby steps. Feels good to move forward with my hubby at my side.

I pray that we can encourage and support each other in the way we need that is unique to our common goal and our individual needs.

Wednesday Weigh In : 12/5 and 12/12

I am in month 4 since I started. I am down 18 lbs and 22 total body inches. I was down 3lbs on 12/5 and down another 1 lb for this mornings weigh in. I am feeling really good. It is still hard. I wouldn't say it is getting easier, just that I am getting BETTER at it :). Scheduling, prioritizing, and getting stronger both in body and mind.

My other weight tracker app is acting wonkie, so testing out a different one. Think I might like this one better. The projections on the other one always seemed to be off.

I have to choose everyday how I am going tho think about myself and treat myself. After trying almost every diet out there and every work out program I am finally thinking for myself and finding what MY healthy is. I do not believe any one way is the right way for all. I have spent my whole life doing what other people are doing or saying what I should be doing. Well in my defense they aren't the fat one or the one with a chaos messy of a house right. They must know what they are doing, right?? well yes, but not in the way I thought. They are doing what works for them in their life.

I saw a quote pic today and it said, "Let others be guides, not goals. You are your own unique person!

I don't have to get up at 5am and go running then be dedicated to hit the gym for 2 hours after. One I am not a morning person, it would make me grumpier and 2 I have kids and a husband to take care of. Does that mean I am not dedicated. No! all it means is that is not my path. We all have to start somewhere and I have, started where another has but what I have learned this time around is to find my own way and what works with me and my family and our lifestyle. its not that it makes it easier but it does help me to be more successful of being consistent with it. That is key to anything you choose to do or how you choose to do it.

My December goals are going well so far. I have had 12 days of straight activity for December and 14 days straight days total. Was not always easy or highly motivated to do it, just over the weekend I waited until 11:30 pm to get my min minutes in I needed to do for it to count. But hey I did it and that's what counts right lol At this point I am not going to stress over the "right" or "wrong" way or time or etc to get moving. Don't know how this will change over time. But not going to worry about that now.

I have taken the same approach with my food. A common sense approach. If I am hungry eat, If it makes me feel like crap don't eat it. If it makes me feel good then eat it. If anything, I have gotten really good at these last 4 months is listening to my body and becoming familiar with all the side effects good and bad whenever I move or eat something.

I have met my blogging goal this week. Still would like to journal more in my personal journal. But it will get there. Just got to keep working on it everyday.

I have looked for people to encourage on facebook and I am doing great in my December challenges. I continue to break my personal best records for my wall sit and plankAday.

Posting my yogaAday pictures have been challenging for me and I am working that out. It feels strange when people like those photos as well. I fond it kinda uncomfortable when it is men vs women liking my pictures too. Weird right?!? well I am working through it and will blog about that soon. In the mean time I try not to think to much and just do it. Take them and post them.

I found a self timer app and had to play catch up as my 2 yr old is not the best picture taker lol. Should stay on track now daily since I will not have to wait on the hubby or older kids to snap a picture for me.

Truth is, I am probably way more uncomfortable with my body then anyone else in the world is. With that said you can find me on facebook, Instagram and twitter and I would LOVE to follow you if you have any or all of those accounts too.

I have progress photo collages done of day 1 vs day 131. However, kiddos are about to get home so I have to run. But they deserve a post to themselves :D

December Day 4

Had a great day today and set some new personal best records on my plank and wall sit challenges. I am so curious to see what my best time will be by the end of the month.

Just when I think I can not surprise myself anymore, I do. I really do underestimate myself and how strong I am getting and how much more stronger I will get.

I have now had 6 (4 if just counting December) straight days of physical activity. Most I have ever done since being out of high school. One thing is in all my previous attempts I have had rest days/cheat days. Well for the time being I am not going to schedule for that. Everyday I want to be active in some way. This is feeling more of a permanent change, not a diet, something temporary where I go back to my old habits.

Right now my appetite is weird. With all the activity I am feeling physically hungry, every couple of hours hungry. So I need to look into all of that info. I know a bit but I guess for now if  i'm hungry I will eat I have lots of fresh veggies and fruit to choose from. I know that will get all sorted out. I am just happy I am craving good foods and not junk foods, so I say that is a win!

The next most awesome thing was, but first let me go back a bit. A couple of months back I wrote about how getting healthy and wanting to live an active life was not being very friendly to my marriage and was a really weird time for me. Not being on the same page as your spouse can be a hard place to be. I did not figure out any answers then or since then, but what I did do was choose to just keep pushing forward with my personal health goals. Hoping and praying the Husband would eventually join me and would grow to include our kids, one big healthy active family :).

Well at the end of homework today the husband said "ok, you done with homework yet cause daddy wants to go on a bike ride. I could not believe my ears. After homework we got out the bikes, roller blades and the jogging stroller and headed out.

It was so unexpected and perfect :)

This post is my 50th post, another milestone for me. I am loving day 4 From the Inside Out.....

Decembers Goals/Challenges

Like to recap November before I move onto December. I had some challenges for the month of November. The first time I tried something like this. The point was to step things up a bit and increase my activity and to also challenge myself.

One of the challenges was to do Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD. I can tell you that I was able to do 1 day! yep that's right, 1 day. I was in more pain for 3 days then I was after the warrior dash LOL

The journaling went well the first 1-2 weeks. This I know will take time and I will continue to work on it. i always feel like i have too much to say when I sit and write and not enough time to do it. I think I can do it later. Funny how that rolls over to other areas of our lives too. I said to my teen the other day, " you know, with you it is always tomorrow, tomorrow , tomorrow, yet tomorrow never comes. You only have today!

Great advice mom, you should take it.. (I thought to myself) :D

I did learn from the experience and did learn something about myself. The type of workout the 30 day shred is, is not for me, not in a solo environment anyways. I would love that type of workout in a group. At this stage I am not the compete against myself type. I found that I am more motivated competing against others or participating in a group setting with that type of workout.

So after a little bit of experience in setting goals/challenges one time for a month I am going to try again for December. I can only get better right?!

I finished getting up my facebook page The Pebble Path up and running. I found new friends and joined some groups that have challenges going on. This is more up my alley.

I personally want to see that I participate in some form of activity 20-60 minutes a day for everyday of December. Participating in these challenges will help with that. Everyday I do one plank, 1 wall sit, and a yoga pose and I post my results/photo accordingly in each group.

My weekly goals focus again on getting my thoughts on paper and tracking my food and activity.
I struggle with self hate issues, so I put something in there to find 1 or more person encourage and to physical post an Operation Beautiful post it when I am out and about. (you can click on the link to see what that is)

I have learned the best medicine for getting out of yourself is to encourage or be in service to others.

The best thing about November I do have to say was, I was busy living life :) spending time with friends, family, the husband, the kids, hobbies and my home. I may have not came close to meeting Novembers goals, but I have no regrets for November. I did not backslide, struggle with depression etc. I was more then just busy, I was productive.

Looking forward to December From the Inside Out...

Wednesday Weigh In : Turkey Bomb!

I survived Halloween and Thanksgiving better then I expected. I was surprised my last entry was October 31st. Time flys when your having fun being healthy :)

I did not gain any wait until this weigh in. I got a double whammy which I call the "Turkey Bomb!". Not only where there temptations to overload on goodies like pumpkin pies and eggnog but it was also the week of my menstrual (I know great combo right). Was really hard with the cravings, mood swings and the extreme fatigue. I managed yoga and considering my weight gain for two weeks I did pretty well. Before I could of easily ate triple chocolate fudge cake to 4-6 lbs. Actually since August 1st this is my first weight gain with a menstrual cycle I have had.

What really tipped me over was the pop (yes I am from Michigan). I drank more pop then I usually do, even on a cycle. It gave me the relief from the headaches and the little bursts of energy I needed to keep the house running smooth. Prior I just hit the bed for the first 3 days everyone fending for themselves. So I did not use the most healthiest option but it was what I had and rolled with it. I will be doing research on what else I can use in place because soda and that amount of sugar is not what I need or want to go to going forward.

So what I took from these last two weeks is it is about progress not perfection. This is a constant evolving process. Always something new to try and always something new to learn all the while trying to stay balanced with all that info while fitting it into your lifestyle and your budget.

I learned some new things about myself to with Novembers challenges. I will blog about that this weekend, for today it is about weigh in and some number stats. As you can see this gain in weight and waist has bumped me over my orange line which gauges how well I am staying on track to reach my estimated number goals. Great thing is I am honestly not freaking over it and I LOVE that! something like this before would of felt so defeating and would of beat myself up over it and ate my way another few pounds and maybe came back around in a few weeks to a few months. One time I beat myself up for a year, that was at my worse, blowing up to a high of 260lbs.

So, I guess I am really starting to Love myself from the Inside Out...

Wednesday Weigh In: 10/31/12

Happy Halloween!

It is probably very fitting that a weigh in Wednesday lands on Halloween. I have a serious problem when it comes to junk food. I am not an everything goodies binger, I specialize in the cakes, chocolate, peanut butter categories.

In Halloweens past the kids already know my Candy Tax is peanut butter cups and butterfingers with everything else optional if they do not like it. Terrible I know lol

But I just don't stop there, musketeers, snickers, etc. "Once I pop I can't stop"..Seriously. It is very maddening to feel out of control around this type of candy and Do not let me get started on donuts/cake categories.

So whats the plan, got a few things going. First and most important I understand that if I pop 0, 1 or 25 over the next week it was a choice. Even though I "feel" like I do not have control over it that is a lie I tell my self to self indulge. 2nd is I need to remind myself daily that I love myself and I love myself more then what I want to eat. 3rd thing is I have November challenges!

So with all that said, lets get to this weeks weigh in.

I am down a smidgen in ounces and a smidgen on my waist. Next week I do my monthly photos and whole body measurements. I am looking forward to that (another reminder to use to say no to the goodies this week)

I have been playing teeter totter with the scale last few weeks and I believe my body is telling me I am good to move forward and do a little more. Since the Warrior Dash I feel extremely confident mentally and physically I can do more.

I have a challenges for 3 areas, Spiritually, Physically and Mentally.

1. imom 30 day challenge. Everyday you are challenged in your growth as a mother by doing or saying something for your child. I will spend time in devotion while doing this. This will be especially challenging for me as I have 5 kids. So everyday each challenge I have to do 5 times. My children's hearts are very important to me and with this busy time a year I want to stay grounded and focused on what is most important.

2. Jillians 30 day shred. I already watched the DVD to see what I am in for. I am a little concerned about the up and down portion. As at my size its not the most easy or fun thing to do. But then again staying this size is not either. If I make it the whole 30 days I get to renew my body bug subscription. If I make 20+ days I get to buy a new pair of brooks.

3. Journal - Yes I have my blog but I can not always jump on blogger to post something at the time, then when I do have time I cannot recall what I wanted to say as good as it was at the time or it now seems irrelevant. I plan to do two things with my journal. journal about my day and log my food.

I am interested to see what this does for me at the end of the 30 days. I hope that these challenges will keep me motivated and encouraged through this time of the year when busyness and stress can take over, which for me spells BINGE. Will also be increasing yoga to 2 times a week. They started Yoga OM in the park here and go on Friday. Super Excited.

Pebble Moment 10: Warrior Dash!

On 10/20/12 I completed Pebble Moment #10!!!

I am still excited and in awe that I completed the Warrior Dash. my Nevada bestie who is 60 years young did the Dash with me. She is an unbelievable inspiration. I do not know if i could of done it without her and her support.

It took us 41 minutes a mile approximately. We had an idea of what to expect, but we found out very quickly we really had no clue lol.

most of our course was working our way uphill. It was physically draining. The two toughest obstacles out of the 12 for me was the clay mud pit and the 65 yard army crawl under barbwire. The obstacle i was afraid of the most was the dreaded wall, believe it or not it was one of the easiest!

I faced a lot of fears today, I wont say i wasn't afraid because i was, but I made the choice i would do it, do it afraid if I had to. The first climb over obstacle triggered the most anxiety and took everything i had not to freeze at top. The boards where far apart for my comfort and transitioning to turn around to go down other side was the scariest part.

My confidence increased, no, it sky rocketed after the first 3 obstacles. The height/climbing obstacles got better and I tackled them braver each time. The transition at top was probably the most scariest. It did not help that other people where on it at the same time making it creek and move as your trying to keep steady lol.

In my age group of 30-39 yr old women there where 713 participants. I can say I was not first but with a sense of accomplishment I can tell you I was 710 :) I wasn't last!

My 60 year young friend took 2nd place in her age division. Now granted not that man 60+ women did the race here in Vegas and that alone tells you just how Amazing she is!

Before I share the things I learned lets get to pictures!!

Bobbie before our wave started.

 Bobbie in our first obstacle
The longest 65 yards of my life. The volunteer in Red on the right was so encouraging. By time Bobbie and I finished this obstacle we where the only two left.
I was very nervous to do this one. I do not have very good upper body strength, but it was surprisingly easier then it looked.
This was my first up and over obstacle and was the scariest one. Took everything I had not to freeze at the top.
 Bobbie and her Blonday Awesomeness!
Our highest up and over obstacle. Very easy to climb but the transition over top was scary for me.
Bobbie up top, she went first :)
Bobbie headed down the cargo climb. We had to come up on the other side and go backwards down.

Steepest climb out of the whole course. I seriously almost puked once I go to the top. it was intense. Even those who looked very physically fit had to walk it.

bobbie on one of my favorites, the teeter totter walk.
Me in the Tire crawl. This was actually hard for me and these tires where hard, hurt almost just as bad as the gravel and rocks on the army crawl.

Bobbie making her way out of the tire crawl

me scaling the wall. Those slats are not very wide at all. this is the obstacle I was most afraid of but with help from the yoga pose frog, i was able to do it!

bobbie on the wall

Bobbie coming down the mounds. I slid and almost face planted on that big rock on the lower right corner of the pic. Sent pins needles through me but i recovered uninjured :)

Yeah Bobbie! leaping over the Warrior Fire, only one last obstacle to go!
In my proof at top of post you can see the last obstacle after the fire. We had to swim in mud under barb wire then cross over the finish line. It was Amazing and we did IT!!
Bobbie and I after we crossed the finish Line!

A much needed bath in Lake Las Vegas!

Bobbie getting her Grub on!

Me getting my grub on, that turkey leg was so yummy!

Victory meal. I am not a drinker of beer but it was free for finishers (legal age to consume, of course) so in the spirit of the experience i took one drink. This was the best meal ever :)

Bobbie took 2nd place in 60+ Womens!

Bobbie Warrior Dash 2012 Las Vegas

Chrystal Warrior Dash Las Vegas 2012

Vegas Warriors!

Blonday Warriors!

Bobbie and I after the most physical challenging and rewarding experience of our lives (to date of course :)

Bruising on inner side of right knee. my left knee and forearms match :)

will never forget this experience. I learned a lot. I was not able to get out of bed for a whole day. Every muscle in my body felt shredded. Every bone in my body ached. As much pain as I felt, it also strangely felt good. i did not suffer any major injuries. however I did get some gnarly bruising from the two crawl obstacles.

What did I learn?

I am not Capable!

I am not Determined!

I am not Strong!

I am  noBrave!

I can not be Fearless!

I am not everything God says I am!

Wednesday Weigh In 10/24/12

Super busy exciting week. Will be updating on the Warrior Dash I did on the 20th.

So I broke my replacement phone at the warrior dash :( I have not had a good streak with phones and missing my iPhone desperately.

Glad I kept my weigh ins on paper as I had to redo my app on another device.
Seriously ::slaps forehead::

It has been slow and steady and an up and down but my measurements and clothing have remained consistent.

Eating at home and staying off tv and being active is working for me. For November I will be stepping it up and have a few challenges I will be taking on, I will share about later.

Pic of this weeks progress is below. As you can see for the first time I am not below my target line. But I am ok with that, lost another .5" this week on my waist. I look forward to doing my monthly pictures and measurements next week.

Taking it one day at a time from the Inside Out..

Weigh In Wednesday 10/10/12

I love following Blogger on similar journeys to mine. It is very encouraging, validating and often times my biggest source of reminders.

The day before my weigh in Wednesday two bloggers posted on facebook about the topic the number on the scale. One blogger asked what do you do when the number on the scale will not move and you are ready to give up? ( check her out @ The Coffee Pot Chronicles)

Here is a direct quote of my response... "I start using measurements along with the scale to track, I check how I feel in my clothes, how I feel physically over all and I look at my fitness bucket list of all the things I've done and experienced on this journey. That all reminds me this is all more then a number then I go play with my kids."

Now these are all tips I have picked up on my back and forth journey along the way. What was I can only explain Gods timing to her question. Even though I know these things, I have not thought about them because I am in the early stages of weight loss where it melts off in the beginning. I do not know how many times I have been here, but enough to know that I knew I would be coming up on a gain (not menstrual related) or a no change sometime soon. She challenged me to stop and think about that and it was a good thing. Because I would need my words the very next morning for my weigh in.

Since I had taken the time to reflect on this scenario before it actually happened allowed me to be prepared for when it did. I had no anxiety this week as I got on the scale wondering if this would be the week there would be no loss, what I did not expect was a gain though. but because I had an "emotional safety plan" in place I was able to step off that scale as confident as I was stepping on it.

I had a 1.2 lb gain this week. I bet it is muscle :) either way, my clothe feel great, I roller bladed a 1 hour and 15 minute session, took walks, played with my kids, and explored the neighborhood on a bike ride with the  girls looking at houses decorated for Halloween. Not only did I look at my accomplished Pebble Moments but I completed one this week too.

What I did have though was a loss on my waist :)

I understand that the number on the scale alone does not define who I am or what I am able to do. It is just one tool of many you can use on a weight loss. I appreciate online weight loss communities that remind us and challenge us through these journeys we have.

I am still on track according to the green line on my nifty app, but what is most important is that...

I am more then a number From the Inside Out...........

Pebble Moment #9

On October 9th I reached Pebble Moment #9!! :)

Pebble Moment #9 was achieved through feelings of fear and anxiety I was experiencing. i have pebble moments on my list that I very much look forward to with no fear and with ton of enthusiasm, some not so much.

That is why they are on there, to face fears and experience life even if only just once (one day I will add a plane ride :P) I recently signed up for the Warrior Dash, it will be the first time this race will be in Las Vegas. I originally had it on my list for year 2013 but for personal reasons I decided to go for it. I have mixed feelings about this pebble moment. I look forward to the event. My fear is not for the course itself it is about my body and my self esteem.

A fear that I will be embarrassed by my performance, be the biggest person out there, the most out of shape, that I will have to walk around the wall climb because I can not climb up and over, etc..

I wish my self esteem would increase at the rate of my inches or lbs decreasing, but truth is I will probably always be in recovery of self esteem and self doubt issues.

So what do you do...find something else I am afraid of and do it. So that is what I did. I thought about my list and new I needed to move my body that night and I have been feeling bored with just walking so I remembered I have rollerblading on there.

Rollerblading is very scary to me especially if you figure in uncontrollable variables into the mix. (out side a skating rink) hills, gravel, traffic, uneven road etc. The thought of falling well, that is scary too. I am a mom of five I can not be laid up in bed that would be disastrous..seriously..

Well my oldest and I dropped the girls off at cheer and headed to a nearby school with an empty parking lot. It had the most perfect view of Las Vegas strip and only one way in loop around and one way out. Only thing is it does have an incline on both sides. I stuck to the middle mostly till I felt warm and not all stiff and my son helped (saved my life) my first attempt at going down the incline to loop around.

by the end of our 1 hour 15 minute skate session I felt great. Hit a few walls but it was so fun skating with him and seeing all the Vegas lights. It was evening time but the parking lot had lots of lighting and since it is fairly new it was pretty smooth with little debris.

Not only did I feel physically stronger and capable but I felt mentally stronger just conquering something I feared due to the "what ifs" and I realized that is all I was projecting about the Warrior Dash..the "what ifs" and of course just all the negative ones at that.

So What if I get over that wall?, What if I do finish? What if I do complete all 12 obstacles? What if I have fun and create a memory I will never forget? What if I inspire my kids? What if I live life!?...I like those "What ifs" a lot more!

I told my son last night in a conversation about something he didn't want to change in his life because he would be quitting. ( but by not quitting he was actually doing more harm to his future). I told him he was not a quitter or a failure because he tried something and turned out it was not for him. That it was better to try things in life and find out it is not the right thing/time for you then to try nothing at all. Pretty good advice I must say...I'm going to take it!

T minus 9 days till Warrior Dash!!

Pebble Moment #8

I have some exciting news about a change in a race I have on schedule. So this is about the first step to completing a pebble moment that led to a completion of a necessary one :)

On my Pebble Path I have a list of things or experiences I want to accomplish on my journey. Things that will challenge me and help me grow From the Inside Out. (hence name of my blog:) On my pebble path I have moments of races I want to do. I originally set a goal of the Turkey Trot in November this year (2012).

Well I love fun races, I have the Color Run on my path as well in February. I figured I would be "ready" by then and strong enough. Since then I have decided to not let fear be a part of the decisions I make during this journey. There was a lot of fear of "i can't" before then..at the very least. Since starting to live life and step out of my comfort zone I am getting stronger a lot faster then I gave myself credit for. My mind, I know is ahead a few steps of my body, but as long as I am being safe in what I am doing I say LETS DO IT!!

So do what you say??.. the Warrior DASH!!

yuuup! 10/20/12 Warrior Dash here I come ready or not :) So another amazing thing about this, my friend Bobbie ( yes the 60 yr young friend I have) has not only signed up to help me get ready for it, but she signed up to do it with me!!

I do not know if we will walk it, jog it, run it, or crawl it (some rolling, laughing and crying will likely be involved too)..but believe me no matter how we cross or get to the finish line we will have a load of fun doing it.

So this leads to Pebble #8, my awesome friend found a really CHEAP jogging stroller at a yard sale for me and baby "c". ( she is a yard sale diva!) My oldest son and I took the baby and Tebow (our dog) and trained on a hill in our neighborhood last night. Well lit and by a school, we tied Tebow to the fence walked up and sprinted down, back and forth for 20 minutes. My oldest towards the end pushed me to sprint up and then walk/jog down, boy did that burn sooooo good,  last thing on my mind was a chocolate cake by time we walked home lol.

Baby "C" will not be joining me for the Warrior Dash but he and my middle son will be joining me for the Color Run.
